Not Avenues, But Alleyways

Once you’ve designed a tour, walked it countless times, discovered new things along the way to add in and found bits to leave out, you do have a slight proud parent vibe going on. I’m please to say that I’ve finished tinkering with this tour and it’s probably my favourite of all of them. There is so much crammed into such a small area it’s virtually no stop history.

The tour takes you back to a time when Fleet Street was criss crossed by numerous alleys, passages and courts each with their own story. Over the centuries many have disappeared, but those that remain tell tales about events no just in London’s history but of some of the people that made these alleyways their home.

There are two tours available on Sunday 11th July 11.30 am or 1.45 pm
